We now offer an improved version of the Stock Index Components feature which offers an array of choices to use to build Ranked Active Stock Portfolios.
The tool we provide lets you choose a series of the Top, or Most Active Stocks or ETFs that reside in the exchanges we follow. You can choose groups of 50, 100, 500, 1000, or ALL of them if you wish to measure them all. The metrics we support are:
Volume
$ Volume
Market Value
Dividend Yield
Dividend Growth
Price ( for those interested )
We use these metrics to rank stocks to determine which ones to include in your
portfolios. And like Stock Index Components, we manage these over time, measuring the exchanges every day or once a month. You can Preview results or Create portfolios
by clicking New Portfolio, and then clicking New Active Stock Portfolio. There's a path through the Portfolio menu too:
UA > Portfolio > Import Custom Portfolio > Ranked Active Stock Portfolio
Once you've explored this tool and created a portfolio, you can review the measurements of your ranked portfolio anytime by clicking the SCALE button in the upper right corner of the Portfolio Manager.
You can also get measurements on any stock portfolio that you may already have, you can even measure a Stock Index Component portfolio. Measurements are presented in a sortable table which includes the following columns of information:
